Edo Queens supporters can now see the possible group-stage route at the CAF Women’s Champions League, but Nigeria’s representatives must still earn the place. CAF’s 27 October schedule lists the WAFU B representative in Group B rather than naming Edo Queens as an already-qualified participant.
CAF’s release states that the competition’s “Final will be played on 15 November 2026”. It places AS FAR, Kawempe Muslim Ladies and USFAS Bamako alongside the regional representative in Group B. The outstanding place is to be settled when Edo Queens and Ampem Darkoa resume their contest in Cairo on 29 October.
The first Group B programme is on 2 November. CAF lists USFAS Bamako against the regional representative at 17:00 Cairo time. That converts to 16:00 WAT and 19:00 Yerevan on that date. Subsequent group dates are 5 and 8 November; qualification would therefore bring a short turnaround from the regional decider to the continental competition.
The distinction matters when supporters share a fixture card. A scheduled place in a draw is not the same thing as a named club having secured it. If Edo Queens win the outstanding contest, the published route becomes their route. Until then, the schedule is conditional, and the Ghanaian opposition have exactly the same opportunity to claim that position.
There is also a planning lesson for Nigerian viewers: confirm both the participant and the timezone before treating a future match as part of your diary. A Cairo listing should not be copied directly as Nigerian time, and a regional placeholder should not be replaced with a preferred club. The calendar is useful because it shows what comes next, while the football still decides who gets there. Which would you most like in a Nigeria-focused continental guide: WAT kick-offs, opponent profiles or a simple qualification map?
