What we collect
- Your email address, only if you log in. We use it to send your login PIN and to keep your account.
- An optional display name, if you add one to your profile.
- Your match votes. They are stored against a scrambled code, not your email address in plain text.
- Anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, country, device type) through Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no advertising cookies.
Why we use it
To run your account, count fan votes, and understand which stories readers value. The legal basis is your consent when you log in, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.
Who processes it
Our service providers: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database) and Resend (login emails). Their servers may be outside Nigeria. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with betting operators or advertisers.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Deleting it removes your email, name and votes.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Logged-in members can delete their account and data instantly from the profile menu (your email, top right, then "Delete my account"). For anything else, message us on our Facebook page. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
