The 2026/27 UEFA Women’s Champions League league-phase draw takes place in Nyon at 12:00 CET on Friday 4 September—11:00am in Nigeria. The draw sets the fixtures for 18 clubs.
Each team will play six matches in one league table. UEFA says the top four progress directly to the quarter-finals, while teams finishing fifth through 12th enter knockout-phase play-offs for the other four quarter-final places.
The confirmed field includes Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern, Benfica, Chelsea, Inter, Juventus, Manchester City, OL Lyonnes, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Roma among the 18 contenders. Inter are entering the competition proper for the first time after eliminating Wolfsburg on penalties.
The draw should be read in two layers: opponent strength and travel sequence. A glamorous fixture can attract attention, but recovery windows and the balance between home and away assignments often shape the route. PitchNaija will not publish the final fixture order until UEFA confirms it.
