CONFIRMED: Liverpool’s official academy schedule places their U19 UEFA Youth League game against Atlético de Madrid at Kirkby Academy on Wednesday 9 September, starting at 3:00pm UK time—also 3:00pm WAT on that date.
This is the under-19 competition, not the senior Champions League match. Liverpool’s first team face Atlético later that evening at 8:00pm WAT in UEFA’s senior schedule.
For supporters following emerging players, the academy match offers a different viewing question: who handles pressure and makes the next decision quickly? A good youth performance is not proof of an immediate first-team promotion.
Keep the competition label attached when sharing scores. An academy result must never be presented as the senior Liverpool–Atlético result. No lineup or broadcast availability is claimed in this guide.
