The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup begins in Poland today, with hosts Poland facing Argentina in the opening programme. Nigeria's Falconets begin their Group F campaign against Spain on Monday 7 September.
The NFF says Nigeria reached Katowice after beating Poland 1–0 and drawing 1–1 with Korea Republic in warm-up matches. Mary Mamudu scored in both games. Those results describe preparation; they do not guarantee tournament performance.
Nigeria's opening priority is to manage Spain's possession without losing its counter-attacking outlet. Group F continues against China PR on 10 September and New Caledonia on 13 September. Official lineups remain unavailable until matchday.
