Nigeria face Spain in Group F of the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup on Monday 7 September at Arena Sosnowiec. FIFA lists the match at 18:00 local time, which is 5:00pm WAT. Official lineups are not yet available.
The first checkpoint is central protection. Spain's possession becomes more dangerous when it moves through the middle without pressure. The second is the next action after a clearance: Nigeria need support around the second ball rather than immediately surrendering another wave.
The third is the first pass out of pressure. A controlled escape can turn defence into Nigeria's attacking opportunity. These are PitchNaija analysis points, not reported instructions from the coaching staff.
