AC Monza have officially announced the arrival of Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro from Inter on a temporary deal with an obligation to buy if specified conditions are met. Born in Lagos in 2004, he developed at Remo Stars before moving into Inter’s youth system.
Monza’s announcement points to a midfielder with Nigerian top-flight roots and productive youth experience in Italy, including six goals and two assists across 28 Primavera and cup appearances in 2023/24. The move gives him another platform to turn development minutes into senior influence.
For Nigerian supporters, the story is bigger than a badge change. His progress is another measure of how well domestic academies and NPFL pathways can prepare young players for the tactical demands of European football.
