There are no men’s UEFA Champions League matches on Tuesday 1 September. UEFA’s confirmed 2026/27 calendar places league-phase Matchday 1 across 8–10 September.
That distinction matters for supporters planning their week—and for any predictions or fixture graphics. PitchNaija will not fill an empty date with old qualifying matches or fixtures from another competition.
The opening slate begins on 8 September and includes fixtures such as Club Brugge against Aston Villa and Porto against Manchester City, followed by Liverpool against Atlético de Madrid and Napoli against Arsenal on 9 September. All kickoff conversions will be published in WAT after final verification.
